STAR OF THE WEEK!

We have our 'Star of the Week' for the child who has had a brilliant week in Pre-School either by displaying fabulous attitude and behaviours and following our 'golden rules' or doing super learning and showing great progress or by being a good friend and doing wonderful sharing. All our children at Pre-School are Stars in their own right but our certificate and Star of the Week pencil rewards one different child each week for their unique qualities and abilites which helps to increase their self confidence and self esteem.

DAILY MILER OF THE WEEK!

We do the Daily Mile every day and once a week we recognise the child who has shone for their determination and effort and they are awarded a special medal

A bit about our Westhoughton Pre School team...

Our team strive to give your child the best possible start in life.

All our "Aunties" are first and foremost, a mum themselves.

So we fully appreciate and understand how precious your children are to you and how important it is for you to feel happy and confident to leave them in our care.

All key worker staff are level 2 and level 3 Diploma qualified and we have a qualified Early Years Teacher on our team.

The team has been carefully chosen to provide a loving family atmosphere so that your child will feel happy, safe and secure in your absence,

Engagement with Parents

We have a shared What's App group with parents where we share daily photos, links and videos of what your child gets up to, we can share these on an individual basis as well but we find most parents like it as they also get to know one another and who their child's friends are!

We have a brand new   you tube channel  https://youtube.com/channel/UCzgD2zxYTkSnu-G7rrTTvRw which is in the name of Brighter Bunnies, our proposed new name for pre-school, once the timing is right and here we share daily videos of the learning we do in pre school, bedtime stories, sing song time and our Nativity so that our children can still join in when they are at home or in the school holidays, we have had some marvellous feedback about our channel which we originally set up during the first lockdown of the Covid 19 pandemic and we had to close in March 2020. Come along and join us to see what we do!
