STAR OF THE WEEK!

This term we have introduced our 'Star of the Week' for the child who has had a brilliant week in Pre-School either by displaying fabulous attitude and behaviours and following our 'golden rules' or doing super learning and showing great progress or by being a good friend and doing wonderful sharing. All our children at Pre-School are Stars in their own right but our certificate and Star of the Week pencil rewards one different child each week for their unique qualities and abilites which helps to increase their self confidence and self esteem.

WORD/NUMBER/SHAPE/COLOUR OF THE WEEK!

We now have a different word, number, shape and colour of the week which we teach the children in Pre-School. These are sent home on a worksheet every week for parents to help teach their children and be involved in their child's learning and development. Children of Pre-School age need to be learning 8 new words a day WOW and understanding what they mean.

A bit about our Westhoughton Pre School team...

Our team strive to give your child the best possible start in life.

All our "Aunties" are first and foremost, a mum themselves.

So we fully appreciate and understand how precious your children are to you and how important it is for you to feel happy and confident to leave them in our care.

All key worker staff are level 2 and level 3 Diploma qualified and we have a qualified Early Years Teacher and an Early Years Educator on our staff.

The team has been carefully chosen to provide a loving family atmosphere so that your child will feel happy, safe and secure in your absence,
